MONDAY 10th March 2008
before i star with my dear 10th march which has been neglected for almmost a week, i must add that we watched 2 video clips made by Simon before KAROL. one was completely pointless just showing alvin and terence asleep and their eyes "connecting" in electrical sparks. interesting gayness though.
the other video was on sec 1 games day. quite interesting. ive come to realise most of his videos are of the same style. full of whatever metal. basically things he listens to. at the end he chipmunked alvin's voice on the "ARE YOU READY??" get the pun? alvin and the chipmunks. always i tell you. lol..
after the movie we also were split into groups and played games. one was to tear down newspapers and make the biggest ball but in the end the points were awarded to the nicest ball to play soccer with because... it was nice. yeaar 1s were the biggest but most untidy. roy kicked the balls while chen played goalie trying to stop the balls from entering. at a distance of 10m. -.-. of course he couldnt catch the smallest ball la. -.-
then there was a blind folding game. or blind fold rather. 2 people from each group. one to be blind folded and to score a goal and the other to give instructions. for the 2nd round i played the blindfolded and darius did the instructing. did quite well at first. but then they restarted the game asking them to stand at one place and i couldnt hear darius anymore so we did quite badly...
did i mention while waiting for the movie to start we sat in a circle and sang songs? only sars knew all the words of "O God You Search Me". i only knew 3 verses.. while most people only knew 1 or 1.5. so i think i did quite well xD
so. monday. woke up after about an hours sleep. at about 7.10 i guess. sars was up and going to skol. she woke marianne up too. becca moved to where marianne was sleeping. i put the cushion i was lying on back in its proper place accidentally waking kenneth because his foot was on the cushion as well. i took the other single sofa. needless to say i couldnt really get back to sleep because it was relatively uncomfortable as i was sitting upright. dunno how kenneth did it though. must be really tired.
i went up to attempt sleeping on my bed. but everyone was still asleep and when i sat on my bed, no matter how slowly i did it, it creaked. loudly. and i didnt want to wake people up and some were stirring already so i went out again to continue on my sofa in peace. of course still couldnt sleep properly. a few peple wlaked here and there and kenneth eventually woke up. kept checking my phone. at about 9.35 i deecided to get up and bathe and change. becca was still sleeping. didnt want to wake her up. she seemed really tired.
went up bathed changed came out and becca walked into the dorm mock scolding me for not waking her up. felt a bit guilty because shes kinda like camp commander so she had to get up earlier...
packed up my bags and folded the sheets. waited for becca and folded her sheets too. brought the sheets and bags down and for breakfast but kinda like stoned and finally ate a slice of bread with peanut butter. i think. cant really remember anymore. oh but i definately had a piece of the brownie. helped the twins and cassie and vy and becca cut up and when i cut one for myself stupid chen thought itd be damn funy to take it la -.-
year 1s were assigned to clean the 2nd foloor of the retreat house and the years 2s the first level. found it really hard an irritating to sweep the hairs in the room because the were long and everywhere especially at mine and cassie's area. cassie either pulls her hair really hard while combing or her hair is so heavy it drops. it was so much i tell you. the hair was irritating cuz it kinda stuck to the end of one of the brooms and while going to other places it would drop off making us do our work more than 2 times over. then there was a broom where the head kept coming off and some weird residue would drop out making the floor even more difficult to clean.
becca helped me clean the toilet. sprayed water everywhere to get stray hairs to cluster at the drain covers then picked the hair up with tissue and threw it in the toilet bowl. wiped some parts of the toilet dry. the sink looked sick but ah wells. if you didnt really think about it then it wasnt so bad. and at least i had someone with me so it was much better.
kinda disappointed chester later because i was supposed to close the windows in all the rooms and i kinda forgot the toilets..
went back down and clustered at the lobby helping to fold the sheets nicely and count them. cassie vy and becca were in the conference room mopping. wanted to fold sheets by myself but realised i was being stubborn and it took so long so in the end i folded with one of the twins. again cant remember who. but i think its atricia.
when everything was done we wanted to play cards again but jac stopped us wanting to give the debrief of the camp and ask us where we wanted to makan. halfway through roy sent cassie to the busstop and they taught us how to give the traditional hug which was to have the person to be hugged at one side and we all link hands and go in a circle around the person in this case cassie and when we were in a so called ball, squeeze and according to roy turn the person blue. of course chen was slow again and wasnt part of it and pretended only but right outside the circle. quite fun the hug. but of youre really self conscious then you'll hate it especially since our crotch levels were around the same and with people crotch or butts were pushing againnst yours. i think this blog is becoming a bit explicit.
anyways in the end after dunno how many options we decided to buy back from ah seah and have our lunch in the canteen. a few of us set up the tables while others went to buy food. unknowingly we set up this so called giant thumb using 10 tables. 2 for the thumb and 8 for the rest which represented the palm and 4 fingers.
play crazy word games and said 3 of our favourite songs. nicholas mentioned you raise me up. again, bad imagery. becca looked at me and i was like -.- urgh and roy was beside us so he was like 'oh so now we know whos minds are sick' -.-
forgot to mention throughout the camp when we had packed food chen would give out the forks and spoons and declined help. ah wells.
becca chen and i went home together on the 136. when we crossed the road we saw it drive past so we kinda missed it. becca and i played the hand with string game thingy while kenneth emoed. then becca was saying at different busstops when she takes out different things the bus will come which is irritating so chen was like yeah next time we waiting for bus we ger her to take out her stuff. -.- and when he said that the bus came lol.
on the bus chen was evil and poked her. at the circus busstop we finally got a place to sit at the back and i went and sat down while becca sat behind me and chen put his bag beside me and stood up. chen kept making fun of her and her backpack and high CG. so evil.. when she left he make fun somemore to me and i was like. mm. mhm. insisted he sat down but he was like no no no and when i asked which stop he getting off and where he stay he was like where u stay what bus u take home? and i was like 851 852 74 and he was like oh. and i was like, so what stop u getting down and hes like i think we getting of same stop. where u stay? i think we getting down same stop.
and it went on a few more times and finally i was like "got kick la. shiok la. keep answering my questions indirectly.." and he gave his super irritating cheeky grin and was like yah. when we got off the bus and crossed the bridge for him to go home and for me to take the next bus home an ambulance passed and he was telling me how he saw a small one in orchard that could slip past a few cars in the same lane and all the cars had to do was move to the left a bit and all his verbal effects. typical guy and i typical girl was like mm. mhm. yah. lol. ok.
so i guess i cant finish lol. xD but thats cuz i digressed but ah wells. going to wrok tmr again. eyes tired. wanna bathe...
chen found the blog. hope there werent any super rated things there or things he isnt suppsoed to see and know about. if not we die. or just need tot hink of new names.
forgot to add i think. about sars. we asked her for states starting with k and she was like kazhakstan afghanistan ubekistan... SAtan.. -.- good one really, but super -.-'''
